Quick Launch Bar on Windows 7 taskbar

Windows 7 Taskbar is very different from previous XP Taskbar. For those people who still misses the Quick Launch bar here is the solution

Just follow these steps to have quick launch toolbar on windows 7:

  1. Right click on the taskbar
  2. Select "Toolbars" > "New toolbar.."
  3. Type "%appdata%MicrosoftInternet ExplorerQuick Launch" (without quotes)
  4. Press the "Select Folder" button
  5. To move the "Quick Launch Bar" first unlock the "Taskbar"
  6. To unlock right click on the "Taskbar"
  7. Uncheck "Lock the Taskbar"
  8. Right click on the dotted lines at the start of the Quick Launch Bar and uncheck "Show Text" and "Show Title"
